Delete your account and data

Untoo ("we", "us") is a couples finance app operated by Untoo. You can delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here's how.

In the app (fastest)

Open Untoo and go to Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and sign-in data are removed.

By request

If you can't access the app, email contact@untoo.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion, and reply when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your account: email, display name, and sign-in identifiers.
Your preferences: language, currency, and notification choices.
If you are the only member of your space, all shared data — expenses, income, goals, contributions, settlements, categories, and notes — is erased immediately.

Shared data when a partner remains

Untoo is a space shared by two people. If your partner is still in the space, the shared financial history stays with them as a read-only archive — it is their record too — and they can export or delete it themselves. Uncoupling and two-sided deletion follow a 30-day grace period, after which the data is permanently removed.

Retention

Once a deletion completes, we do not retain your personal data, except where we're required to keep limited records to comply with law (for example, tax records for purchases made through Apple or Google). Anonymized, non-identifying usage analytics may be retained.
